Charitable Giving- Leveraging the Community Foundation to Meet Your Clients' Philanthropic Needs

The Community Foundation of Huntsville/Madison County has recently launched a new partnership with Greater Horizons, a nonprofit financial services organization affiliated with the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, which manages over $2.1B of assets, including the assets of 30 Community Foundations across the United States.  Greater Horizons is a leader in the community foundation field for finding effective ways to partner with the local professional advisor community to promote philanthropy.  In fact, around 70% of Greater Horizon’s assets is managed externally by their client’s own financial advisors. 

This presentation will provide a brief overview of the work of the Community Foundation, and how the Community Foundation works with Financial Advisors, Accountants, and Estate Planning Attorneys to offer clients creative and personalized solutions to meet their charitable giving and legacy planning needs.

We hope you will join us for breakfast at 8am at the Chamber of Commerce Auditorium on May 6th. Attendance and breakfast is free to members of The Financial & Estate Planning Council.
